Obituary

Betty Jean Vaughan of Cambridge, and formerly a long-time resident of Mount Dennis, Toronto, passed away after a short illness, with her daughter by her side, at the Innisfree House Hospice, at the age of 83.

Predeceased by her parents Flora Belle (Jones) and Father Arthur Lewis Murray of Stratford, Ontario and her son Brian Salter (2017)

She is survived by her daughter Maryann and son-in-law Kevin, son Bradley and daughter-in-law Mickey. Also fondly remembered by her four grandchildren.

Betty worked as a crossing guard for 12 Division Police Department in The City of York for 25 years.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Cambridge Hospital and Innisfree House for their care and support.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date when safe to do so.

Out of respect for Betty's wishes there shall be no formal public visitation or funeral service. A private gathering of friends and family will take place in the near future to honour her life and those that she touched.
