Suddenly at his home, David R. Buuck passed away with his loving wife Patricia (Hensen) Buuck of 29 years by his side. She misses him dearly. Dave will also be missed by their new pup Chloe and many family members and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Martin and Marlene Buuck of Milverton.

Dave was born in Stratford and as a young boy raised in Milverton, acquired a lifelong love of playing with remote controlled airplanes and trains. Basically, his life was about planes, trains and automobiles! He was also an avid fisherman. In his youth he often helped his dad do deliveries for the Milverton Home Hardware. As an adult he met Trish in London, Ontario; they married, and the rest is history – they enjoyed many wonderful years together.

In his careers, Dave first worked for Valeo Engine Cooling on car radiators in the press shop. He moved on, acquiring his truck licence and drove long haul for Schneider National Trucking out of Green Bay, Wisconsin and finally with Challenger Motor Freight in Cambridge before he retired.

Both Trish and Dave became Poplar Hill Lions members and enjoyed helping at community events, attending meetings and creating friendships with fellow Lions members.

A “Celebration of Life’ will be announced for the Spring, a date in April of 2023, allowing family members to make plans for a return back to Canada. A special Lions ceremony with be held in Dave’s honour prior to this gathering.
