Dear Jean and families,

Comparing Life to a Candle;

With a candle one can do 3 things:
One can snuff it out prematurely,
One can allow it to burn out naturally,
Or one can transfer the flame to another candle.

Sometimes candles are extinguished prematurely, however not before the candle had a chance to kindle so many other flames.

This flame will continue to live in all of you and also the lives Doug touched with his compassion, love, devotion , caring and sense of humor.

Our thoughts go out to all of you at this time and the song;"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland is where you will find him.
Also thanks for your work of art Doug..I have framed it.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Susan and Bill Little

Our condolences to Aunt Jean, family and friends. I will cherish the visit my sister and I had with Doug and Jean, along with a few family members, in Fall of 2017. The conversation we had as we chatted and were shown around their condo was especially memorable. Take care, Sharon and Joe Read
