I'll never be able to thank Gordie enough for the positive influence he had in my life, with all his support and love over the years and the many lessons he's taught me and the all the days filled with laughter and good times. I'll continue to remember to always be young at heart no matter what age and pass on that message you taught me and all the others You will be truly missed Gordie. I will forever be proud to call you my grandfather. May you rest in peace.

I only have fond memories of Gordie as I was only 16 years old when I first met him. We ended up being very close over the years as Gordie who was a lot older than I and still took the time to play ball, play pool, get me into clubs even when I was underage. He always took care of me like I was a younger brother. I am now 67 years old and Gordie took up a lot of space over the years, he will be greatly missed but he has left me with so many great memories! Rest in Peace, my dear friend!
